Ruth McCammont

Ruth McCammont has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of internal communications. Ruth is currently the Head of Internal Communications at Spirent Communications, where they oversee the internal communication strategies and messaging. Prior to this role, Ruth held positions of increasing responsibility at BP, McLaren Group, The Access Group, CEB, Diageo, and A2Dominion Group. Throughout their career, Ruth has demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing communication plans, creating engaging content, and advising senior executives on best practices to enhance employee engagement. Their achievements include leading successful social media campaigns, improving employee participation in engagement surveys, and driving internal communications during mergers and acquisitions. Ruth's experience spans various industries, including telecommunications, energy, automotive, technology, and housing.

Ruth McCammont obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in Law from Anglia Ruskin University, where they studied from 1990 to 1993. In October 2016, they also obtained the CIIC certification from the Institute of Internal Communication, becoming a Certified Member of the institute.
