Ky Vo

Ky Vo has over 30 years of work experience in the technology industry. Ky is currently working as the VP of Hardware Engineering and Quality at Spireon since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Synamedia from 2018 to 2021, serving as the Director of Technical Engagement. In this role, they were responsible for managing customer engagements, leading technical discussions, and investigating incidents.

From 2013 to 2018, Ky worked at Cisco, where they held various roles. Ky served as a Technical Manager, overseeing cross-functional teams and managing OTT video SaaS applications. Ky also worked as a Program Technical Manager, leading system architects and technical managers for cable TV projects.

Before Cisco, Ky worked at NDS, which is now part of Cisco, as a Software Development Group Manager from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Supervisor at Rosen Entertainment Systems, where they managed development and QA teams for mobile video and infotainment products.

Ky's work experience also includes roles at Alpine Electronics Research of America, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer, and AT&T Microelectronics / Lucent Technologies / Agrere Systems, where they held multiple roles as a Technical Marketing Manager.

Ky started their career at Raytheon / E-Systems as a Member of Technical Staff. Throughout their career, Ky has gained extensive experience in software development, project management, and technical leadership.

Ky Vo holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering, which they obtained from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Ky completed their undergraduate studies between 1989 and 1994. In 2008, Ky Vo received a Certificate in Java Programming from California State University, Fullerton. In addition to their formal education, they have also earned certifications as a Certified Product Owner and as a Scrum Master, both from Mountain Goat Software.
