Ben Ferrell

Principal Engineer - R&d Composites at Spirit AeroSystems

Ben Ferrell has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Ben started their career as an Engineering Co-op at GE Aviation in 2002 and later joined the Edison Engineering Development Program as an Engineer. Ben then worked at General Electric Aviation as a Lead Engineer before moving to Albany Engineered Composites as a Process Engineer. Currently, they are working at Spirit AeroSystems as an Advanced R&D Composites Engineer before being promoted to the role of Principal Engineer in 2021.

Ben Ferrell earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2004. Ben then went on to complete their Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2005 to 2007.
