Brad Thiessen

Brad Thiessen is a Senior Engineering Manager and Chief Engineer at Spirit AeroSystems, with a tenure that began in July 2005. Thiessen has extensive experience leading projects for major aerospace programs, including the Boeing 777-9 and 777-8F, with roles spanning from special projects to systems engineering. Previous positions at Spirit AeroSystems include FAA Outside Boeing Authorized Representative and Engineering Manager focusing on Structures Technology. Prior to joining Spirit AeroSystems, Thiessen worked as a Stress Engineer at Boeing, contributing to multiple aircraft programs, and at Roush Industries as a Product Engineer for prototype development. Thiessen holds a Master of Business Administration from Newman University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University.
