Dervla Convery

Dervla Convery has extensive work experience in supply chain management and procurement. Dervla is currently the Head of Supply Chain Execution at Spirit AeroSystems, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing at the same company from November 2020 to April 2023. Before joining Spirit AeroSystems, Dervla worked as a Procurement Manager at Bombardier Aerospace from September 2018 to November 2020. Dervla also held roles at BOMBARDIER, including Supplier Development Manager from January 2015 to November 2020, and Transformation Change Leader from October 2007 to January 2015. Dervla's earlier experience includes working as a Quality Manager at Terex Corporation from March 2006 to October 2007, and as a Lean Management Consultant at Ford Motor Company from July 1998 to March 2006.

Dervla Convery received a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Queen's University Belfast, where they studied from 1997 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Loreto Grammar School, Omagh, where they also pursued Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from 1991 to 1997.
