Nick Laird Cbe

Nick Laird CBE is a prominent leader in the aerospace sector, currently serving as the Director of Advanced Air Programmes at Spirit AeroSystems since October 2020. Previously, Laird held the position of Director at Bombardier from February 2018 to October 2020 and contributed to the UK's defense strategy as a member of the MOD Think Tank - DCDC while with the Royal Air Force from November 2014 to December 2017. Laird's extensive experience with the Ministry of Defence spans over three decades, where Laird was a Senior Executive from December 1986 to December 2017. Academically, Laird earned a BA(Hons) in Business, Economics & International Law from Edinburgh Napier University, and has pursued further studies as an Affiliate Fellow in Cyber Security at Harvard Kennedy School since 2016, alongside a Master's degree from King's College London.
