Simon West has over 27 years of experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Deputy Shift Operations Engineer at Spirit Energy since January 2015. In this role, Simon supervises the operation of a high gas production and processing site, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and effective gas delivery. Prior to this, Simon worked at Centrica Energy from 2007 to January 2015, first as a Production Technician, where responsibilities included operating a gas processing plant and performing maintenance, and previously as an Operations Technician in a CCGT Power station. Simon's career began at Kimberly-Clark, where roles included Shift Mechanical Technician and Mechanical Technician, contributing to a comprehensive background in mechanical operations and safety compliance.
