Shaun Hansen

Shaun Hansen has extensive experience in outdoor recreation and customer service. Currently a snow maker at Spirit Mountain Recreation Area since November 2013, Shaun works overnight shifts to ensure optimal snow conditions. In addition, Shaun has been involved with the Duluth Area Family YMCA as Climbing Wall Staff since August 2013, assisting individuals in building their climbing confidence. As a Climbing Wall Instructor at the University of Minnesota-Duluth since January 2011, Shaun teaches various climbing techniques to a diverse range of participants, including at-risk youth and those with disabilities. Shaun's earlier roles include sales associate positions at Ace Hardware and True Value Company, providing valuable customer service and product knowledge. Shaun is pursuing a degree in Environmental Outdoor Education with a minor in Deaf Studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
