Joy Zumbro

Joy Zumbro is currently the Director of Real Estate Counsel at Spirit Realty Capital, Inc. Joy has been in this role since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Real Estate Broker as a sole proprietor starting in December 2019. From February 2019 to November 2021, they served as Counsel at Benderson Development. Before that, they worked as a Commercial Real Estate Associate at Weatherspoon & Voltz LLP from October 2016 to January 2019. Joy also held the position of Associate Attorney - Commercial Real Estate at The Banks Law Firm, P.A. from September 2012 to September 2016. Joy Zumbro obtained their JD/MBA from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law from May 2009 to May 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Paralegal at Smith, Welch & Brittain, LLP from May 2008 to May 2009.

Joy Zumbro completed their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University from 2003 to 2007. Joy then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a Doctor of Law (JD) from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, from 2009 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Broker In Charge certification from the NC Real Estate Commission in December 2019. Furthermore, they acquired a VA Bar License in October 2013 and an NC Bar License in August 2012.
