Thomas Fessard

Thomas Fessard has a diverse work experience in the fields of chemistry, drug discovery, and research. Thomas is the Co-Founder and CEO of SpiroChem AG, a leading Contract Research Organization in the field of Discovery chemistry and route scouting. Thomas has also served as a Non-Executive Board Member at Amphilix AG. Previously, they worked as a Consultant at TCF and as a Scientific Advisor at Glycemicon and AgroSustain. Thomas has also held positions as a Senior Research Scientist at ETH Zurich and as the Head of Chemistry at Lipideon Biotechnology AG. Before that, they gained research experience as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at both ETH Zurich and the University of Nottingham. Thomas started their career as a Stagiaire at CNRS.

Thomas Fessard received their PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Nottingham in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplome d'Ingénieur (Master's Degree) in Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier in 2001. Additionally, they have attended ETH Zürich for an unknown period of time and pursued entrepreneurship and life sciences at BioBusiness - Lugano.
