Jessica (Ling) Lee

Jessica (Ling) Lee has extensive work experience in the field of clinical sciences and operations. Jessica is currently a Member of Chief, a private network focused on empowering women executives. Prior to this, they held the position of Head Clinical Sciences and Operations at Spirovant Sciences, Inc. Jessica also served in senior roles at Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc., including SVP Clinical Science & Operations and Global Integration, VP Clinical Operations & Compliance and Global Integration, Vice President of Clinical Operations and Compliance, and Sr Director of Clinical. In addition to their industry experience, they have contributed as an Adjunct Faculty at George Washington University. Earlier in their career, they worked at VGX Pharmaceuticals, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck, and SmithKline Beecham Corporation, holding various roles in clinical research and molecular biology.

Jessica (Ling) Lee pursued their education with a focus on public health and pharmaceutical quality assurance/regulatory affairs. Jessica first attended the Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. Prior to that, they studied at the Temple University School of Pharmacy from 1998 to 2000, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in QA/RA, emphasizing quality assurance and regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.

In addition to their formal education, Jessica (Ling) Lee has also obtained certifications to expand their professional skills. In November 2016, they became a Certified Clinical Compliance Professional through The Center for Professional Innovation & Education (CfPIE). Their most recent certification is the General Management Program, which they obtained from Wharton Executive Education in October 2021.
