Katherine J D Excoffon

Katherine J D Excoffon has a wide range of experience in both academia and industry. Katherine J D began their career as a Research Scientist at the University of Iowa in 2001, where they worked for eight years. In 2009, they joined Wright State University as an Assistant Professor and steadily worked their way up, becoming an Associate Professor with Tenure in 2013, a Full Professor with Tenure in 2018, and eventually an Adjunct Professor of Biological Sciences in 2019. Katherine J D has taught and conducted research in various biological sciences disciplines during their time at Wright State University. In 2019, Excoffon made a transition to the industry and joined Spirovant Sciences, Inc. as a Senior Director of Research. Katherine J D was later promoted to the role of Vice President of Research in November 2020.

Katherine J D Excoffon completed their education from 1995 to 2000 at The University of British Columbia, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Genetics.
