Urs Zingg

Urs Zingg is a highly experienced surgeon currently serving as Surgeon-in-Chief and Head of Department at Spital Limmattal since February 2011. Prior to this role, Urs Zingg worked as a Consultant Surgeon at University Hospital Basel from June 2010 to February 2011 and completed fellowships at Royal Adelaide Hospital and Flinders Medical Center between February 2008 and April 2010. Urs Zingg also held the position of Staff Specialist at University Hospital Basel from July 2006 to January 2008. Urs Zingg earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the University of Bern between 1991 and 1997 and holds a professorship in surgery from the University of Basel.
