Daniel Prof. Dr. Med Franzen

Daniel Prof. Dr. med Franzen, MD, MHBA, FCCP, currently serves as the Departementsvorsteher Innere Medizin and Co-Chefarzt Pneumologie at Spital Uster since January 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel held various positions at Universitätsspital Zürich from August 2008 to January 2022, including Stv. Klinikdirektor, Leitender Arzt, and Oberarzt. Daniel has also gained experience as a Gastarzt in Interventionelle Bronchologie at Ruhrlandklinik in 2012-2013 and has held multiple assistant physician roles in various hospitals from 2001 to 2008. Educational credentials include a Master of Health Business Administration from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and certificates in Medical Leadership and Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Zurich and University of Bern, respectively.
