Jürg Gurzeler

Jürg Gurzeler started their work experience in 1998 as an Oberarzt Chirurgie at Universitätsspital Basel (USB), where they also worked as Oberarzt Handchirurgie. Jürg then moved to Ospedale civico di Lugano OCL in 1999, where they served as Oberarzt Chirurgie until 2000. In 2001, they joined Universitätsspital Basel (USB) again as Oberarzt chirurgische Intensivstation before transitioning to Kantonsspital Luzern in 2003 as Co-Chefarzt. From 2007, Jürg Gurzeler joined Spital Zofingen AG, initially as Leiter Departement Operative Medizin und Chefarzt Chirurgie and later as CEO Stv. In 2014, they held the role of CEO ad interim for a short period. In 2017, they joined Asana Gruppe Spital Menziken as Chefarzt Chirurgie and worked there until 2019.

Jürg Gurzeler pursued their education at the University of Bern from 1983 to 1990, focusing on Medizin. Jürg successfully completed their studies and obtained an Approbation degree from the university during this period.
