Monique Bowie

Monique Bowie is a creative problem solver and advocates for social change. She is passionate about women’s rights and racial and economic justice and believes bringing diverse perspectives to the forefront sparks positive change. Monique specializes in executing tasks with the most efficient and practical approach, ensuring that no detail is overlooked.

In her role at Spitfire, Monique manages the DC office administrative responsibilities and provides support to Spitfire leadership. She keeps things organized and handles all office task workflow, allowing project staff to focus their talents on clients. Monique works with Spitfire’s director of operations to identify strategies to improve systems and processes within the firm. Her work contributes to creating a vibrant atmosphere and balances the firm as a whole.

Before joining Spitfire, Monique supported the CEO and CTO at SoundExchange, a nonprofit organization that develops business solutions to benefit the entire music industry.

Originally from Jamaica, Monique graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in economics. In her spare time, Monique enjoys attending live music events, painting and traveling to tropical destinations.
