Carlos Almeida is an engineering executive with experience in both start-ups and large-company environments. Carlos is currently the Vice President of Engineering at SPK and Associates LLC, where Carlos focuses on best practices in software development and operational continuous improvement. Previously, Carlos held various leadership roles at Cadence Design Systems, including Engineering Group Director, Engineering Director, Sr. Engineering Manager, and Engineering Manager. Carlos also worked as an SMTS - Engineer at Tangent Systems. Carlos graduated with a BS from Santa Clara University.
