Yodit Zenebe

Yodit Zenebe Mekuria is an experienced professional in the field of international development and human rights, currently serving as the Country Director and Interim Country Director for Ethiopia at Splash International since June 2022. Previously, Yodit worked at Plan International Ethiopia as the Director of Programs from January 2021 to June 2022 and held multiple managerial roles at the Plan International African Union Liaison Office between July 2015 and January 2021. Yodit’s extensive career began with roles at Plan International Finland and Sweden, focusing on human rights, as well as an internship at the UNDP Oslo Governance Centre. Yodit holds a Master’s degree in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oslo, an MPhil in Peace and Conflict Transformation from UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, and a BA in Education from Debub University.
