Simon Fung

Simon Fung is a design professional with extensive experience in various roles across notable companies. Currently, Simon serves as a designer at Metalabel and functions as an advisor for multiple organizations, including Bindery Books, HIFI Labs, and Spline. Simon previously created and hosted the Ambie Award-winning podcast from Tenderfoot TV and iHeartPodcasts, titled "Dear Alana," from August 2021 to August 2023. In prior positions at Patreon, Simon was the Head of Product Design, overseeing design and research teams, while at Google, Simon was involved in multiple leadership roles, including Director of Product Design for Core Product and as a Design Manager for Google Maps. Earlier career highlights include serving as Senior Designer at TIME Magazine and Lead Designer at Transmodern Media LLC. Simon holds degrees from McMaster University and has studied at Queen's University and the School of Visual Arts.
