Samata Prawah

Samata Prawah has a diverse work experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles. Currently, they serve as a Senior Software Engineer at Split since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Apple as a Technology Lead from November 2019 to February 2021, where they focused on data-heavy Demand Forecasting Systems and Employee Systems. Samata collaborated with cross-functional team leaders and developed proof of concepts (PoCs) to facilitate the adoption of desired solutions.

Before Apple, Samata worked at TrueBlue Inc. as a Software Engineer from December 2014 to May 2019, and previously from June 2013 to November 2014. At TrueBlue, they gained experience in software engineering.

Earlier in their career, Samata worked at Digital Aisle as a Lead Developer from July 2012 to June 2013. Samata worked closely with company executives and founders, developed applications for touchscreen devices and store kiosks, and maintained a Java-based Content Management System. Samata also worked as a Consultant at Digital Aisle from March 2012 to July 2012 as part of CavalierIT.

Samata started their career as a Trainee at Cavalier Workforce Inc. from October 2011 to March 2012. Prior to that, they gained experience in academic roles at Cameron University, including serving as a Mathematics Tutor from February 2009 to July 2011 and as an Office Aide for the Dean of Science & Technology from September 2007 to July 2011.

Samata Prawah attended Cameron University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Additionally, during the same time period, they also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Cameron University.
