Sonya J Carter, NAHPe, COS, currently serves as Senior Regional Property Manager at SPM, LLC, overseeing operations for Affordable Housing Communities across Alabama, New York, and Washington D.C., since August 2023. Previously, Sonya held the position of Vice President for Affordable Housing at SPM, LLC from December 2010 to June 2023, managing 40 Multifamily Communities throughout the Southeast, and also worked as Regional Property Manager for nine senior communities in Alabama and Washington D.C. Prior experience includes roles at WCDM Management and Place Management Group, as well as serving as Community Manager at Bell Partners Inc from 1996 to 2002. Sonya earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from South College.
