Merel Veraart

Merel Veraart has accumulated valuable experience in the education sector, currently serving as a Leraar basisonderwijs at SPO Utrecht since August 2021. Prior to this role, Merel worked as a Leerkracht & Onderwijsassistent at Openbaar Onderwijs Groningen and as a Persoonlijk begeleider in het speciaal onderwijs at Team050. Merel also contributed to research on student dropout factors during the time at Noorderpoort. Early career experiences include internships at VluchtelingenWerk Nederland and Zorggroep Drenthe, focusing on integration and care for psychogeriatric patients, respectively.
