Tim Jett

Chief Operating Officer at SPOC Automation

Tim Jett has over 30 years of experience in the US Navy and other industries. Tim began their career in 1992 as a Supply Officer and Chief Messing Billeting Officer at NATO Headquarters Southern Europe, and later served as Assistant Supply Officer for the USS Fairfax County (LST 1193). In 1998, they were appointed Supply Officer for the Presidential Retreat Camp David and Supply Officer for the USS Maine (SSBN 741) (Gold Crew). From 2003 to 2006, they were the Division Director of the Integrated Weapons Support Team at the Naval Supply Systems Command, and from 2006 to 2009 they were the Executive Officer for the Commander, Naval Supply Systems Command. From 2009 to 2010, they served as the Director of Supply Chain & Logistics (Supply Officer) for the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77). From 2012 to 2014, they were the Director of Logistics & Supply Chain (Supply Officer) for the Fleet Readiness Centers at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). From 2014 to 2016, they were the Chief Executive (Commanding Officer) at the US Navy Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound. Finally, from 2016 to 2022, they held the role of Program Manager and Supply Chain Component Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer at SPOC Automation.

Tim Jett completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the United States Naval Academy in 1991. Tim then went on to complete Executive Education - Senior Executive Fellow from Harvard Kennedy School. Tim also obtained an MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from the Naval Postgraduate School. Additionally, they completed the Advanced Program in Logistics & Technology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Keenan-Flagler Business School. Tim also obtained a Defense Acquisition Professional - Life Cycle Logistics DAWIA Level III certification.
