David McDowell has extensive experience in financial management and accounting, currently serving as Accounting Coordinator for Grants at Spokane Transit Authority since January 2020. Previous positions include Controller at The Spokane Club, Director of Business and Operations at Lakeland Joint School District #272, and Finance Director for Kootenai County, Idaho. David also held the role of Controller at the Coeur d'Alene Tribe and had a significant tenure at the Corporation of the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle, where roles included Controller, Administrative Services Manager, and Accounting Supervisor. David earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Idaho between 1977 and 1982.
