Jennifer Lebret

Jennifer LeBret has a range of work experience in the field of Native American education. Jennifer currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Washington State Native American Education Advisory Committee at the OSPI Office of Native Education since 2019. Prior to that, they were a Director of the Native Youth Community Project at the Spokane Tribe of Indians starting from February 2019. Jennifer has also worked as a Curriculum Coordinator at the Wellpinit School District, focusing on incorporating Native American Epistemology into mainstream curriculum and utilizing place-based knowledge systems. Jennifer held this position from May 2015 onwards. In 2014, they worked as the Indigenous Curriculum Coordinator at the same district.

Jennifer LeBret attended Whitworth University from 2015 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Social and Behavioral Health Social Emotional Learning, with a focus on Education. In addition, they also completed a Native Education Certificate program at the University of Washington in 2015.
