Katy Iza is a senior manager at Spokn, a global communications platform. Katy has over fifteen years of experience in marketing and product management. Katy has a track record of success in launching new products and initiatives and driving growth in both small and large organizations.

Katy started their career in marketing and product management at SGS, a global leader in quality control and certification. Katy then moved to Citi, where they advised clients on offshore investments. In 2005, Katy co-founded an apparel company. The following year, they ran (unsuccessfully) for parliament in Egypt during the Arab Spring.

After a few years working in government, Katy returned to the private sector and joined Vodafone as a senior marketing manager. Katy quickly made an impact at Vodafone, leading the team that developed and launched vertical SMB products. Katy's team was named the top product marketing team globally by Vodafone Group. During their time at Vodafone, Katy also created Sherkety.com, a platform for SMBs that increased NPS by 27 points and was adopted as a best practice by Vodafone's global operations.

Katy left Vodafone in 2015 to join Vezeeta, a startup that revolutionized the healthcare industry in the Middle East. At Vezeeta, Katy helped grow the company from a small startup to a major player in the region. In 2018, they joined Spokn as a senior manager of customer experience (CX). Katy is currently based in Dubai.

Katy Iza completed a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Modern Sciences and Arts University. Katy then attended Harvard Business School Executive Education for a Scaling Entrepreneurial Ventures program. Katy is currently a part of the Y Combinator startup accelerator program.
