Aurora Mendez

Aurora Mendez is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in violin performance and teaching. Currently serving as a Strings Teaching Artist at New Jersey Symphony since September 2022, Aurora also holds positions as a violinist for the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and as a Violinist Fellow at Spoleto Festival USA. In addition to the performing arts, Aurora has a background in social media marketing, having contributed to the APEX Ensemble and worked as a Web3 Consultant for VinylsNFT. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Music and Performer's Certificate from Montclair State University, along with a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. Aurora has demonstrated a commitment to music education through roles with various institutions, including Robert Treat Academy and Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts.
