Matthew W J Wilson

Matthew W J Wilson has over 14 years of work experience, beginning in 2007 at Home Retail Group PLC as a Duty Manager/Cash Office/Customer Service. In this role, they were responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day operation of the Argos shop floor, including supervision of staff and interacting with customers to help them with purchasing decisions. In 2017, they began working at the Northern Ireland Housing Executive as a Business Improvement Project Manager/Business Analyst. During this time, they led and completed more than 10 improvement projects while ensuring new processes are in compliance with regulations and risks identified. Matthew W J also led on the spec, design (UX design) and launch of a bespoke data submission customer portal for 86 support provider organisations in NI. In 2021, Wilson began working at GRAHAM Group as a Business Process Analyst (UX Focus). In this role, they collaborated with business users, product owners, program managers, software engineers and business partners to gather and identify requirements for web/portal/mobile applications. Matthew W J is currently working at Spond as a Product Designer, a role they began in 2022.

Matthew W J Wilson has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Management and Leadership Development from Ulster University, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. In 2021, they obtained a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute and an Introduction to SQL & Joining Data certification from DataCamp. Matthew W J is also in the process of obtaining a PRINCE2® Foundation - Project Management certification from PeopleCert.
