Simon Ekman

Simon Ekman currently serves as Legal Counsel (secondee) at Sponda Ltd since February 2024 and has been an Associate at Borenius since March 2020, specializing in real estate and construction law. Ekman’s responsibilities include drafting agreements and advising clients on real estate and energy transactions. Prior experience includes roles as a Thesis Trainee and Associate Trainee at Borenius, and internships at Allianz Real Estate, JLL Finland, and PwC, focusing on investment strategies, financial modeling, and due diligence for real estate transactions. Ekman holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Laws from Turun yliopisto, a Master of Science and Bachelor of Laws from Hanken School of Economics, and a Bachelor of Laws from Åbo Akademi University.
