Most recently, Richard worked as the Chief Mission Delivery Officer at the Spondylitis Association of America, where they led efforts to cure ankylosing spondylitis and related diseases, and empower those affected to live fulfilling lives.

Richard Howard, MBA, has a diverse education history spanning several fields. Richard earned their Bachelor's degree in Sociology from UCLA, completing the program from 1983-1985. Following this, Richard pursued further education in non-profit management and obtained an MBA degree from the University of Judaism, studying from 1989 to 1999. Richard also engaged in various certification programs to expand their skillset. Richard completed the Para Chaplain Training Program offered by The Board of Rabbis of Southern California in 1989, and became a certified Aerobic Instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in 1988. Additionally, Richard enriched their teaching capabilities by becoming a certified First Aid & CPR Instructor through the American Red Cross in 1996. Later in their career, they completed the Yoga Instructor Training Program at Black Dog Yoga, becoming a certified Yoga Instructor in November 2013. Richard holds additional certifications such as Yoga Instructor certified by Yoga Alliance, obtained in November 2013, and Para Chaplain obtained from The Board of Rabbis of Southern California in January 1989.
