Rafael Rantanen

Rafael Rantanen is a Partner and Investment Professional at Sponsor Capital, a Finnish private equity firm focused on small and medium-sized enterprises in Finland, where Rafael has been involved since August 2017. In addition to this role, Rafael serves as a Board Member for Vantaan Kiinnike ja Rak Oy and Kiinteistöpalvelu Siiki, and previously held the position of Deputy Member of the Board at Herrmans Bike Components Ltd. Prior experience includes an Analyst role at Goldman Sachs, focused on Credit Risk Management for TMT and real estate transactions in EMEA, and a Project Finance internship at UniCredit. Rafael Rantanen holds a BSc and MSc in Finance from the University of Vaasa and participated in an exchange program in Energy Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics.
