Steven Huang

Steven Huang is a dedicated research intern at Stanford University's Dodd Lab, specializing in the analysis of uric acid metabolizing genes in anaerobic gut bacteria. Concurrently serving in various leadership roles with the American Red Cross, including as the National Collegiate Assembly Lead and Youth Services Coordinator, Steven enhances youth volunteerism through mentoring, program development, and national presentations. In addition to contributions in the medical field as a curriculum developer with UCSF Health, Steven also engages in educational outreach as a member of the education committee at UC Berkeley, focuses on photography for Spoon University, and has extensive volunteer experience in healthcare and high school mentorship contexts. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, Steven combines academic pursuits with a strong commitment to community service and education.
