Sharon Shacham is a prominent figure in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Director at E44 Ventures since June 2022. Sharon has held various leadership positions at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. since June 2009, including Founder, Chief Scientific Officer, and CEO. Additionally, Sharon has been involved with Sporos Bioventures and Acrivon Therapeutics, Inc. as a Scientific and Clinical Advisor and Board Member, respectively. Previous experience includes directing drug development at EPIX Pharmaceuticals, where significant advancements in clinical candidates across multiple diseases were achieved. Education includes a PhD in Biochemistry and Computational Biophysics and an MBA in Information Systems from Tel Aviv University.
