Hugh Black

Hugh Black is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management and property development. Currently serving as Group Estate Manager at Sport Aberdeen since April 2018, Hugh oversees the operation, management, and maintenance of 31 sport and well-being venues, ensuring they are well-equipped for community engagement. As Managing Director of Rubislaw Quarry Aberdeen Ltd, also since April 2010, Hugh is dedicated to the preservation and future regeneration of this iconic site. Additionally, Hugh holds the position of Director at Black & Whyte Ltd, a property development company, and previously managed Nu-Style Products Ltd for over two decades after acquiring it through a management buyout in 1989. Hugh's educational background includes studies at Hazlehead Academy in Aberdeen from 1971 to 1975.
