Mark Taylor

Mark Taylor currently serves as Chair of the Board for Sport Birmingham and is a trustee member of the Board. Mark co-founded Element45, an advisory business focused on leadership development, strategy, and performance improvement. Mark has held the position of Council Member at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, providing strategic policy advice from 2018 to 2024, and chaired the Business Commission West Midlands in 2023/24. Mark was the Regional Managing Partner at RSM UK from 2003 to 2024, overseeing operations across the Central Region, and previously held various leadership roles at Baker Tilly. Mark has also contributed to the Warwick Strategy and Consultancy Professional Network at the University of Warwick, and worked in business process assurance at Ernst & Young. Mark's academic background includes an MBA from the University of Warwick and a Master’s in Chemistry from The University of Manchester, along with additional training in sustainability from the University of Cambridge.
