Jim Etzel has a strong background in sports and entertainment marketing, with extensive experience in leadership positions. Jim is currently the CEO of Sport Oregon, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to that, they founded and served as CEO and Chairman of ETZEL Agency, a national brand experience and live event agency, from 1995 to 2017. Jim also had a role as Executive Vice President - Business Development at Greens.com from 1998 to 2000. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at Regency Productions by Hyatt, Peter Jacobsen Productions, Inc., Entertainment & Sports Promotions, Louisiana-Pacific Corporation, and Chapman Lumber Company.
Jim Etzel attended the University of Portland from 1981 to 1985, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing, Management & Communications. Jim has no additional certifications.
