Ryan Tarrant, CTS-D, PMP has a long history of work experience in the audio-visual and technology industries. Starting in 2020, Tarrant currently serves as a Solutions Architect for SVT (Sport View Technologies), where they work with customers to design scalable and supportable solutions to meet their specific needs.

Prior to this role, Tarrant was a Performer / Technical Supervisor / Partner for Starfarm LLC from 2003-2020, where they played bass guitar in a band that performed 60 dates per year at corporate events, festivals, weddings and clubs, and integrated their various social networks to grow their social media reach.

From 2008-2020, Tarrant was employed at Michigan State University, where they held various roles. Ryan served as Lead AV Engineer, where they planned and implemented campus wide AV architecture and expanded video conferencing capabilities. Ryan was also Academic Technology Coordinator, where they developed strategies for deploying scalable classroom technology solutions for the MSU community, and Health College Academic Technology Coordinator, where they managed a continuous pipeline of projects to refresh and maintain all Health College classrooms. Lastly, they served as Information Technology Professional, where they researched and developed technology strategies to satisfy a diverse group of private, public and educational clients.

Prior to this, Tarrant was employed at Future Media Corporation from 2003-2008, where they served as Post Production Supervisor and supervised the technical aspects of a variety of live and recorded productions.

Ryan Tarrant, CTS-D, PMP has a long history of education and certifications. Ryan received a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Michigan State University in 2002 and a Master of Arts in Media & Information Management with a specialization in Management of Information Technology from Michigan State University in 2018. Ryan obtained their Certified Technology Specialist certification from InfoComm International in 2012 and their Certified Technology Specialist - Design certification from InfoComm International in 2016. In 2015, they obtained their ITIL Foundations certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In 2016, they obtained their CompTIA Network+ ce certification from CompTIA. In 2017, they obtained their CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA. In 2016, they obtained their Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from Project Management Institute. Finally, in 2019, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute.
