Andreas Gerhardt

Andreas Gerhardt is a seasoned legal and media professional with extensive experience in distribution, legal affairs, and corporate governance. Currently serving as Chief Distribution Officer at SPORT1 GmbH since April 2016, Andreas leads the distribution of all SPORT1 channels and oversees regulatory and public affairs. In addition, Andreas holds the position of Geschäftsführer at Match IQ GmbH and is a visiting lecturer in copyright and media law at Hochschule für angewandtes Management. Previously, Andreas provided legal counsel for several prominent companies, including PVD PharmaVertrieb Deutschland AG, DAS VIERTE GmbH, and Red Bull Media House, and has a background in media law research. Andreas holds a law degree from the University of Regensburg and completed the second state exam in law at OLG München.
