Iain W. is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as Full Stack Team Manager and Backend Tech Lead at Sportable since February 2022, Iain previously held various roles at BBC from March 2015 to February 2022, including Software Engineering Team Lead, where Iain oversaw the BBC Elections coverage during high-profile electoral events. Prior experience includes positions at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe from August 2009 to February 2015, where Iain contributed as a Senior Engineer and led a small team, as well as roles in R&D and development. Iain holds advanced degrees in Computer Science and Processor Technology from The University of Manchester, with education completed between 2003 and 2009.

Today, the business is partnered with eight global ball manufacturers. Currently our global footprint consists of operations and offices in the UK, North America, Australia and South Africa.
