Sam Baker

Sam Baker is an experienced sports performance analyst with a comprehensive background in football and rugby. Currently serving as a Field Operations Coordinator at Sportable since September 2024, Sam previously worked at Rotherham United Football Club, holding positions as Lead First Team Analyst and First Team Analyst Assistant from January 2023 to September 2024. Prior roles include Head of Performance Analysis at Emami East Bengal, Product Specialist at In-Play Sports, and Performance Analyst at Salt and Stats Perform. Sam's early career included internships with Northampton Town Football Club, Barnsley FC, and a performance analyst role for England Dodgeball during the 2019 European Championships. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Applied Sports Performance Analysis from the University of Worcester and a BSc in Sports Business Management from Sheffield Hallam University.
