Alper Turgut

Alper Turgut has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Alper co-founded SportAI in 2020, where they currently hold the position of a Data Scientist. Prior to that, they worked at Epic as a Technical Solutions Engineer from July 2019 to June 2020. Alper also served as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Virginia School of Medicine from October 2016 to May 2019, and at O&O Alpan, LLC from June 2016 to November 2018. Alper gained experience as a Research Technician at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from June 2018 to August 2018. In 2014, Alper worked as a Research Assistant at Koç University.

Alper Turgut pursued their education at the University of Virginia, embarking on their undergraduate studies from 2015 to 2019. During this period, they majored in Biomedical Engineering and had a minor in Computer Science, focusing their studies on the field of Computational Biology. Following the successful completion of their undergraduate degree, Alper continued their academic journey at the University of Virginia from 2020 to 2024 to obtain their Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) with a specialization in Medicine.
