Scott Shaver

Scott Shaver has extensive experience in sales and management spanning several decades. Currently, Scott serves as a Sales Specialist at Sporting Life, a position held since October 2018, while also working as an Outside Sales Representative for The Wood-Source Inc. since April 2016. Prior to these roles, Scott was a District Manager for the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, overseeing over 500 member accounts and advocating for their interests with government bodies. Scott's entrepreneurial experience includes founding and managing Shaver Sports from 1998 to 2015, handling various business operations such as purchasing, human resources, sales, marketing, and accounting. Earlier career roles include sports designer at Rapid Wear Inc. and sales consultant at T&L, alongside coaching responsibilities at Mont Cascades ski area. Scott completed undergraduate studies in science at Carleton University after graduating from Brookfield High School.
