Chaminda Basnayake

Chaminda Basnayake has been working in various industries since 1995. Chaminda began their career as a Demonstrator at the University of Peradeniya in 1995 and then moved to the Open University of Sri Lanka in 1996. In 1997, they joined Trelleborg Lanka (pvt) Ltd. as a Logistics Executive, and was later promoted to Manager (Logistics & Planning), and then Production Manager - Light Industrial Tires. In 2018, they joined Sportique as an Operations Team and most recently in 2019 they became a Visiting Lecturer at The Plastics & Rubber Institute of Sri Lanka.

Chaminda Basnayake has a diverse educational background. Chaminda obtained a BSc (Special) degree in Chemistry from the University of Peradeniya in 1995. Chaminda then went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Polymer Technology from the University of Moratuwa in 2002. In 2010, they earned an Advanced Diploma in Logistics Management from the National Institute of Business Management. Finally, they completed a Master's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Sheffield Hallam University in 2017. Additionally, they have a certification in B.Sc (Special) degree in Chemistry from the University of Peradeniya.
