Alex Gerontikos has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Alex began their career at Unilever, where they held various marketing roles, including brand and product manager and marketing manager, focusing on ice-cream products. Alex then moved on to work at Intralot, where they served as the Marketing Director for Betting Company SA and later as the Head of Marketing for Intralot Interactive. In these positions, they played an instrumental role in business development and marketing operations for the online betting and gaming market. Following their time at Intralot, Alex worked as a performance marketing and betting and gaming consultant for a range of corporations and organizations worldwide. Currently, they hold a leadership position at Sportradar, starting as the Director of Sales and eventually being promoted to VP and Head of Sales for Europe. Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated expertise in sales, marketing, business development, and building strong customer relationships.
Alex Gerontikos completed a Master's degree in Sports Governance from Université de Limoges from 2016 to 2018. Before that, they pursued an MBA in Management from Southern New Hampshire University from 1989 to 1990. Their education journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, specializing in accounting and finance, from The American College of Greece from 1984 to 1989.
