Andrej Bratko

Andrej Bratko has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Andrej is currently working at Sportradar as the SVP of AI Solutions, a position they started in January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Technology, BI & AI at Sportradar from June 2016 to December 2021. Before joining Sportradar, Andrej was the Director of Mobile Gaming at Sportradar from January 2013 to May 2016.

Before their time at Sportradar, Andrej co-founded and worked as a Software Developer at Klika d.o.o. from May 2003 to December 2012. Their role involved research and development of web/enterprise applications, software for mobile and handheld devices, and embedded software development.

Andrej also worked as the Chief Scientist at Noovo from May 2008 to April 2009, where they focused on data mining for the Noovo social discovery platform and developed various algorithms and engines.

Andrej's career started at Jozef Stefan Institute, where they worked as a Research Assistant from November 2003 to January 2009, focusing on text mining and classification. Andrej also served as a Lead Engineer at StorScape, responsible for storage resource management software development, and as a Software Engineer at HERMES SoftLab.

Andrej Bratko obtained a PhD in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science from 2003 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a BSc in Computer Science from the same institution from 1997 to 2003. Andrej Bratko completed their high school education at Gimnazija Bezigrad, Ljubljana, graduating in 1997.
