Julie Hopson

Julie Hopson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Julie started their career as an Event Staff at YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in 1994 and worked until 1997. Julie then moved on to YMCA Of Jackson in 1999, where they served as a Sports Director until 2003. In the same year, Julie joined The Sports Facilities Companies as the Director of Operations. Julie later transitioned to Parks & Recreation in 2003, taking on the role of Recreation Program Director. Julie held this position until June 2023.

Julie Hopson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies at The University of Southern Mississippi from 1993 to 1996.
