Michael Kelly currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Community Engagement Officer for Community Playmaker at The Sports Facilities Companies, focusing on enhancing local government initiatives to improve quality of life and economic development. Previously, Michael held significant leadership roles at the Chicago Park District, including General Superintendent and Chief Executive Officer, where management encompassed a $500 million operating budget and oversight of a large workforce. Additional experience includes positions as Chief Operating Officer and First Deputy General Counsel within the Chicago Park District, as well as a role in the City of Chicago’s legislative and community affairs. Michael holds a Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from John Carroll University.
