Omer Dor has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Omer is currently the CEO at Sports IQ Analytics, where they utilize AI and machine learning to develop software solutions for the online sports gambling industry. Prior to this, in 2017, Omer embarked on an eight-month sabbatical to travel the world with their wife.

In 2014, Omer served as the President of Salmatic Technologies, a Private Equity Search Fund focused on acquiring healthcare technology businesses. Omer successfully secured financial backing and led the company as CEO. Omer also gained experience as the Director of Business Development at Masonic Aging Services Corporation from 2013 to 2014.

In 2011, Omer co-founded MobiCare, a company that experienced two rounds of seed financing. Omer served as the CEO and was responsible for overall business strategy, financial management, and operational leadership. During the same year, Omer participated in The Next 36, an organization aimed at developing high-impact entrepreneurs in Canada.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Omer worked as a Research Assistant at McGill University in 2011. Omer conducted research on fuel cell technologies and performed market analysis of existing research and technologies.

Overall, Omer possesses a strong background in business development, executive leadership, research, and technology.

Omer Dor earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2010, they also briefly attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they pursued the same degree in Chemical Engineering. Alongside their studies, in 2011-2012, Omer attended the University of Toronto to obtain a Certificate in Entrepreneurship through their program called "The Next 36".
