Pete Sweeney

Pete Sweeney is an experienced sports journalist currently serving as the Editor in Chief for Arrowhead Pride at Vox Media, LLC since July 2017, where responsibility includes overseeing all content and managing a team of 28 contributors. Sweeney is also a Chiefs analyst for KSHB / KMCI / The EW Scripps Company and has provided insights on the Kansas City Chiefs through multiple appearances per week. Additionally, Sweeney hosted "Arrowhead Pride Radio" on Audacy, Inc., offering in-depth coverage of the team. Earlier experience includes reporting for the Kansas City Chiefs and various roles within Major League Baseball organizations, including the Tampa Bay Rays and Arizona Diamondbacks. Sweeney holds a Master of Science in Broadcast & Digital Journalism from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the State University of New York Cortland.
