Andrew Gray has worked in the sports industry for over 20 years. In 2021 they began their current role as Chief Analytics Officer at SportScientia. Prior to this, they were the Founder & Director of Athletic Data Innovations (ADI) from 2009-2021, where they created a software product which processes tracking data to provide insight into sports performance to clubs and teams. From 2019-2021, they were the High Performance Manager at Wests Tigers Rugby League Football Pty Ltd, where they built and maintained a high performing environment across the club. From 2014-2019, they were the Physical Performance Manager at Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks (National Rugby League), where they delivered and led Elite Performance Programs across Sports Medicine, Strength & Conditioning and Sport Science. From 1998-2014, they were the Performance Director, Sports Scientist & Senior Physiotherapist, and Senior Physiotherapist at St George Illawarra Dragons, where they developed Sport Science systems and delivered best practice Physiotherapy services to the NRL team.

Andrew Gray's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Strength & Conditioning from Edith Cowan University from 2007 to 2009, a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAppSc) in Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney from 1992 to 1995, and an MBA (Executive) in Business Administration and Management, General from AGSM @ UNSW Business School since 2019. Additionally, they hold three certifications: Accredited High Performance Manager (AHPM) from Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) obtained in February 2019, Level 2 Sports Trainer from Sports Medicine Australia obtained in November 1998, and Registered Physiotherapist from AHPRA (Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) obtained in January 1996.
